activity makes collaboration between the public and private sectors increasingly essential.<br \/>In this context, <strong>Termatalia 2026<\/strong> will once again bring together destinations, companies, professionals, and institutions linked to health and wellness tourism in Ourense, reinforcing its role as a platform for knowledge sharing, promotion, and business development opportunities. <\/p>\n<p>The latest edition of Termatalia in the Americas was held in Colombia in September 2025 and was described as \u201cspectacular the best edition ever held in the Americas, thanks to its outstanding level of participation and the remarkable commitment of the local hosts.\u201d<br \/>This assessment is supported by participation figures and attendance at the training activities, which featured 55 experts from 13 countries, welcomed 2,000 in-person visitors, and attracted an additional 24,900 views of the live stream of the 6th International Congress on Water and Health.<\/p>\n<p>The hosts of Termatalia Colombia 2025 (Fontur, Cotelco, the Government of Boyac\u00e1, and the Paipa Municipal Administration) described this edition as \u201ca catalyst for the thermal development of the region\u201d and expressed their satisfaction with the results achieved, thanking Termatalia for becoming an international platform for promoting Colombia&#8217;s thermal tourism, particularly that of Boyac\u00e1 and Paipa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Termatalia&#8217;s institutional significance has also been reflected in its previous international editions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>2023 edition in Uruguay<\/strong> was declared an event of National Tourism Interest by the Ministry of Tourism of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay and was inaugurated by the then President of the Republic, Luis Lacalle Pou.
