href=\"https:\/\/alternative.cafe\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">alternative.cafe<\/a> , the French start-up that advocates for a new coffee model &#8220;from the seed to the cup&#8221; &#8211; the World Coffee Challenge will bring together for 2 days the coffee producers from South and Central America, Africa, Asia and Oceania, as part of Termatalia 2022. <strong>World Coffee Challenge<\/strong> <strong>Termatalia 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The main goal of this competition is to bring closer the producer and consumer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Educate consumers about coffee, have them appreciate the organoleptic qualities of coffees roasted at origin and the diversity of the coffee terroirs, have them value the transmission of experiences<\/li>\n<li>Help producers communicate and understand the expectations of the market; encourage local initiatives that promote quality and better social and environmental practices (CSR), raise awareness of the interest of geographical designations in coffee-growing territories to protect the locally processed product<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>A jury of experts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chaired by Mercedes Gonzalez Rodriguez, expert in sensory and organoleptic analysis, the jury of the World Coffee Challenge will be composed of coffee professionals (baristas, distributors&#8230;) and taste professionals (chefs, sommeliers, enlightened amateurs&#8230;).<\/p>\n<p>The best coffees in the world, be them Arabica or Robusta, will be rewarded at the official ceremony attended by several personalities from the region of Galicia as well as diplomats from the producing countries<\/p>\n<p><strong>An exceptional selection of one hundred coffees:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the combined action of the international delegates who make up the &#8220;Termatalia network&#8221; and that of the collaborators of alternative.cafe, a rigorous selection was carried out in some 30 producing countries Nearly a hundred exceptional coffees are expected to compete for the awards that will allow them to not only be recognized in their country but that will finally open opportunities for Spanish, French and
